November 2024 is Fall Prevention Month. 

All Canadians play a role in preventing falls.  Take Action to Prevent Falls. 

• Falls are the leading cause of injury-related hospitalizations among Canadian older adults.
• 20-30% of older adults fall each year 
• Falls are the leading cause for hospital admissions from injuries for children ages 0 to 14 
• Attend the FREE Healthy Aging group class on Nov 20 (12:30-2:30) @ 245 Dixon Rd and learn more about Fall Prevention.
