PLEASE NOTE: DUE TO THE COVID 19 PANDEMIC, FOR THE SAFETY OF STAFF, PATIENTS AND COMMUNITY MEMBERS, WE WILL BE SUSPENDING ALL IN PERSON GROUP CLASSES. WE WILL REVISE ONCE THE SITUATION CHANGES. 

In the meantime, we will be moving toward delivering group classes virtually. Patients can participate either on their mobile devices or they can phone in. 

In order to participate virtually, we will be asking all patients to provide us with their email address so that we can send them the link to Zoom (the platform we will be using to deliver these virtual group classes). 

We're planning a Virtual Coping with Stress Workshop on Saturday Nov 7 10:30-12:30pm.   Attend this workshop and learn to identify stress triggers and understand how to manage things that are beyond your control. 

You do not need a referral from your physician to attend this class.

Self referrals are encouraged.  Please call 416-740-2810 to register or if you have any questions.

  • General information about different types of blood pressure, cholesterol and medications
  • Understanding Nutrition for heart health 
  • The importance of lifestyle and relaxation on your heart (Yoga, mild stretching and deep breathing)

After Hours Clinic (AHC)

We provide an After-Hours Clinic (AHC) with a physician on-call to provide care for semi-urgent cases when your own Humber River FHT physician is unavailable. If you are registered with the Family Health Team, you can access the clinic at several different locations.
